FAQ
This is our first senior, how does this all work?
To book a session, go to the Schedule a Session page and submit the form and we will follow up. Once a date is set, we require the session fee, which can be paid online to hold your date and time.
When should I schedule my senior session?
The sooner the better! We book out early every year.
Most students are scheduled during the summer between their Junior & Senior year.
Our busiest months are July, August, September and October.
What time of day is best for pictures?
Our sessions are usually in the evenings after 5:00pm. We are happy to work weekends if you need it. We light all of outdoor photos to control the lighting any time of day, so we are able to shoot on sunny or cloudy days.
What do you suggest about clothing?
Check out our detailed clothing tips on our site in the Info section for girls and guys.
What if it rains the day of my session? We can schedule a makeup session later at no charge.
What if my complexion isn't perfect on the day my photos are scheduled?
Do not worry about your skin or any blemishes. All images are fully retouched to remove minor blemishes, scars, stray hairs, etc.
We have you covered.
Can I bring my own props?
Yes we encourage you to bring things that show your interests & activities such as sports equipment, musical instruments, uniforms, and pets too.
Should I bring my mom or a friend to my session?
Yes, absolutely!
We prefer Mom to be there. Mom is a valuable assistant during the shoot and can help with clothes, hair, jewelry, etc.
A friend is welcome too. Having someone to help you often puts you at ease during your session and makes it more fun. Friends can often bring out the best smiles.
Do you offer group / friends sessions?
Yes! Group / friends sessions can be a lot of fun and are some of the most fun sessions. You and your friend can share the session and split the costs.
When will my photos be ready to view?
Your photos will be posted online to view and choose in a day or so after your session. Your photos are password protected and you can show them to friends and relatives.
Do I have to use the school's contracted photographer for my yearbook photo?
Sometimes, yes. If your school has a contract with a particular studio, you may have to go there for the yearbook head shot. If there is no contract, then we would be glad to provide you with a yearbook photo.
What products do you offer?
We offer a variety of products including wall prints, canvas gallery wraps wall portraits, framed artistic collages, custom graduation invitations, senior albums, folios, and digital files.
